This second instalment of João Paulo Simões’ Absences Trilogy - initiated by Absences of Mind in 2005 - features an ensemble international cast led by Martina Goodman, Luís Correia Carmelo, Ivania Elena, Martin Nowacki and Alexandre Guedes de Sousa.
The trilogy concludes next year, with the release of Remaining Absences, in which the key themes of loss, love and longing will come together full-circle.
Enrique Rodriguez’s directorial debut, Hypotenuse has been made available online recently - an evocative piece, which intercuts between three different scenarios to atmospheric results.The production was facilitated by Captüra Filmes and the short-film, which also stars British actress Martina Goodman, is now released by Vaavi Studios.
