The year opened promisingly with rehearsals for the upcoming Torpor Revisited. Alexandre Guedes de Sousa and a guest actress embraced the opportunity to dissect a key selected scene, leading to exhilarating results.
Castings will proceed throughout the coming weeks, but the leadactress from the original film, Ana Falé, is now officially on-board of this new version.
Written and directed by João Paulo Simões, Torpor Revisited is set to enter production next Spring and continue into the Summer in such locations as Barcelona, Sintra and Lisbon.
Conflicting schedules and re-negotiations have forced the production and completion of the remaining parts of The Thalus Trilogy to be pushed back for late Autumn/early Winter. Yet, before Antlers Of Reason II and III come out officially, a special trailer for the whole trilogy will be released online, which will be accompanied by the presentation of a brand-new spin-off series in comic-book format.This currently in-production Graphic Novel will unfold further some of the pagan mythology originated by the films, introducing some new characters - and bringing some old ones back…
